Giveaway official rules

The Chicago Hat Club giveaway (a sweepstakes) is sponsored by Doodle House LLC d/b/a Chicago Hat Club, 1175 Tower Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173, (847) 847-4070, [email protected] ("Sponsor").

2. This giveaway

Prize: 50-inch TV, approximate retail value $400. The entry period starts Mon, Oct 12, 2026 at 12:44 AM CT and ends at the drawing, Sun, Dec 13, 2026 at 8:00 PM CT (Central Time). Entries made outside the entry period don't count.

No giveaway is running right now. Each giveaway's prize, value and dates are posted here and on the giveaway page when it opens.

Each giveaway is separate, with its own entry period (from its start to its drawing, as shown above — it may run for several weeks or months), prize and drawing. Entries don't carry over to a later giveaway.

3. Who can enter

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 or older when they enter. Employees of Sponsor, its owners, and the members of their households are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

4. How to enter (two ways)

Free entry (no purchase necessary): fill in the form on chicagohatclub.com/giveaway with your name, email address and phone number, and confirm you are 18 or older and a US resident. Each form entry earns 25 entries. Limit: one form entry per person (and per email address) per day, Central Time, on every day of the entry period. Checking the optional email or text-message boxes is never required and does not change your entries.
Purchase entries: every whole $1 of merchandise you pay for on chicagohatclub.com during the entry period (after discounts, not counting shipping or sales tax) earns 1 entry, added automatically to the email address on the order. If an order is refunded or canceled, its entries are removed (a partial refund removes the refunded dollars).

Free entries and purchase entries are equal in every way: each entry is one chance in the same drawing. Entries made by bots, scripts, multiple or fake identities, or any method other than those above are void. Sponsor's records are the official record of entries.

5. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the entry period.

6. Drawing

One winner is chosen by computer random selection from all eligible entries, with every entry given an equal chance, at or after the drawing time stated above. The drawing is conducted live on Instagram @chicagohatclub and is recorded in Sponsor's drawing log (time, number of entries, and the entry selected).

7. Winner notification

Sponsor contacts the potential winner by email (and may also call or text the phone number entered) within 48 hours of the drawing. The potential winner must respond within 7 days and may be asked to confirm eligibility. If the potential winner doesn't respond in time, is not eligible, or doesn't follow these rules, the prize is forfeited and an alternate winner is drawn the same way from the remaining eligible entries.

8. Prize

One prize per giveaway as described above; Sponsor chooses the prize's brand and model. No cash or other substitution, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable. The prize is shipped free to the winner's US address, or picked up at our Schaumburg shop. The winner is responsible for any taxes on the prize; for a prize worth $600 or more, the winner must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and will receive an IRS Form 1099.

9. Publicity

Where permitted by law, by accepting the prize the winner agrees that Sponsor may announce their first name, last initial, city and state on its website and social media, without further payment. We never post a winner's full name, email, phone or street address.

10. Not sponsored by Instagram or Meta

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Sponsor chooses the brand and model of each prize. Product and brand names are trademarks of their owners, are used only to describe the prize, and those owners do not sponsor or endorse this giveaway.

11. Privacy

We use your name, email and phone number to run the giveaway and to contact the winner. Your phone number is used only to reach you if you win, unless you separately check the optional box to receive text messages. See our Privacy Policy for how long we keep entries and your choices.

12. General conditions

By entering, you agree to these rules and to Sponsor's decisions, which are final. Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, and may cancel or change the giveaway if fraud, technical failure or anything beyond its control affects it, in which case the winner may be drawn from the eligible entries received before the problem. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries.

13. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute is handled in the state or federal courts serving Cook County, Illinois.

14. Winners list

For the name of a winner, email [email protected] or mail a request to Chicago Hat Club, Giveaway Winners, 1175 Tower Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173, within 60 days after the drawing. Recent winners are also listed on the giveaway page.
